Christmas Greetings,
.
God and our own personal Santa, Mama Joy, were very good to our kids throughout the year, and in particular on this Christmas morning. Fiona snapped away and sent the photos by Express Reindeer. If they measure up their 1000 word ea. billing, there’s about fifty grand worth here for you. And a heartfelt “Happy Christmas” from a chorus of twenty three clear voices.
.
John and Herenia. Profile shot.
John and Herenia. Straight on.
Abigail and her new diary and
Her Purpleness, Faith.
Jeff and his book,
Courage and his candy.
Simon and his watch,
and Lucky and his...something.
Kaleb
and Ben and House mother Mary.
Jennifer and her new diary,
Abigail and her still new diary.
Sammy and his sucker,
John and a back pack of his own.
Steve's smile,
Mercy's dress.
Simon's shades, part deux,
and Peace's tiny bubbles.
Opening gifts is hungry work, and with that in mind, Mamma Mulandi gave a goat to go with our chickens on the grill...a whole goat, that is.
Nyama choma. The favorite of Kenyans and some expats. Right Monte?
A leg and some change.
The meat-feast was rounded out nicely, and, no doubt, all the kids each ate their own weight.
But goat ribs and presents aside, there is a center here which can hold, and does. Holds our hearts together from there to here and, to quote Buzz Lightyear, "Too infinity and beyond." That's where He came from, to us, today, His birthday.
Right Tina!
.
We take this moment with all of you to remember with great gratitude, that God has blessed us, everyone.
.
David
