On March 13th, the Development Team met to discuss a wide range of building projects and upcoming fundraisers. David started the meeting by sharing the new architectural plans for the proposed children’s houses. Construction is set to begin once the plans are finalized with our architect in Kenya.
Further, we agreed on a time and place for the Annual Walk-A-Thon. It will be held at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA on May 3, 2008 starting at 9am. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering or participating in the event.
Next, we begin planning the annual Wine Tasting event. It will be held in early summer. Additionally, Lynette shared her research into the purchase and sale of specialty RROP bead jewelry to be sold in conjunction with the Wine Tasting event. Please keep checking back for more information.
